Happy birthday Sandy
Happy Birthday!!
Gretchen, that is one of the most beautiful yellows I have seen. Name please and parents names, if you know them???
Margie and Barbara, thank you! She's one of the IG X EG seedlings that I grew from J.T.'s seeds. I have several seedlings from that cross and they are all gorgeous and all quite different. All have at least 6 spurs on each bloom, but usually 7. This particular one is my fave out of all the seedlings I grew this summer, and has had 7 spurs on every bloom!
Thank you, Gretchen...I just love it!
Thanks Everybody! and Yes I had a wonderful day!
part of my wonderful day was getting a pkg in the mail from Ada......and you can just imagine what was in it. lol. Thanks again Ada!
You're welcome, Sandra. Glad you had a great birthday.
Gretchen, What is IG and EG? there are so many new crosses that I can't keep up with their names.
Happy birtday sandy many more blessings.
I was going to ask too...is it Insigni Gold X Ember Glow??? I did some searching and came up with those for the initials!
Barb, I think it is Insignis Gold and Ember Glow, but not sure.
Oh Gretchen that yellow is to die for-if it ever has a seed pod can I be first in line?
Nice birthday card for Sandy!
Yes Margie and Brugie -- its Insignis Gold X Ember Glow. Sorry for the initials...
Shinny -- brugs don't come true from seeds. This brug is a seedling, and is still being evaluated. In fact I'm digging her up tomorrow because she's not doing well in her present location. Too much sun...and, she's right beside her sister who loves that location -- go figure. Anyway I'm going to put her in a pot for the winter, along with a few others. Back to the seeds. If she did produce seeds, there would be a very slim chance that she'd produce a duplicate of herself... Hopefully if she survives the winter she'll get big enough to give me some cuttings next year.
Glad you all like her :)
Happy belated Birthday. Hope it was a good one. Gretchen this is the yellow I was talking about. It is so incredible
Donna -- thanks! I dug this one and her sister and put them in pots. Also took cuttings of each and am trying to get them started -- greenwood and tips, so who knows. I am very hopeful that they hav not been afflicted with the TSWV. I will hopefully know by next Spring...
