No NHL

Hard to believe hearing the announcement tonight. Can't imagine going through a winter without NHL Hockey. The news tonight said that the situation resulting from this lockout could last a long time. Bummer...

I'm not a big hockey fan, but I won't leave the room just because DH has a game on, I do care what's happening! But even I can't imagine a winter without NHL Hockey. Its part of our Canadian fiber I think - winter comes, hockey starts.

Isn't it neat, how it was one of the main stories on the National last night? No other country would do that.

However, I think it's sad, on both the owners' and the players' parts. Personally I haven't been able to afford Oilers or Sens tickets for years now. Go, Manitoba Moose! :-)
