Variegated Agave 'Marginata' (Agave americana)

Acton, CA(Zone 8b)

This might be Agave Cornelias, a monstrose form of Agave americana marginata.

Phoenix, AZ(Zone 9b)

What have you decided?
I googled Agave 'Cornelius' and all the images I found were smaller than the parent plant that this one came from. The Parent plant is about 2.5 - 3 feet high.
The branching structure/pattern looks more like the regular ol' A. americana.

maybe... the teeth sure look irregular, though. Need to see the whole plant, I guess... 3' tall would certainly be quite tall for a monstrose form... is it suckering? The monstrose forms are very slow, if at all, to sucker

Yes it suckers quite readily.

OK, that's not Cornelius then
