Milan,
Just received your pkg which you sent. I'am so astonished and so very greatful for ALL the different kinds of hoyas, you are so very GENEROUS.
Thank You So very Much for everything and all your help, and that you were one of the first to trade with me as a new subscriber-which I will always remember!
Blessings, Ingrid
Milan, Thank-You So Very much!!
Oh good they arrived, no problem it's my pleasure.
My recommendation is to put your new cuttings in a Ziploc bag with a little water in it, blow up the bag and close it (reinflate every 1-2 days), keep at a warm and bright (no direct sun) location. After a week or two you should see roots at which point you can place the cuttings into a pot with soil or soilless mix. Place a plastic bag over the pot to keep it nice and humid for another week or two and you should have a nice small Hoya collection thereafter :).
Milan
Milan, Your something else...Hope you like mine you get it.
Blessings, Ingrid
I have to add that Milan has an exceptional green thumb and he should have a greenhouse business!....The minibelle looks great Milan and I sent you off an email to tell you so ...lol...this Hoya addiction is fun......thanks again!!!
Sandy
Oh good Sandy, yours arrived too. That makes 3 out of 4 shipments completed so only the one to SK is still MIA :).
BTW Sandy I looped your cutting around in the soil since it was so long, it might be a little slower to start that way byt you can cut the loop once you have new growth which doubles your cutting :)
Green thumb, no way. Though the majority of Hoyas seem to work well for me, I'm having a low success rate with the african Ascleps so maybe a very light shade of green :)
Milan
Hi Milan,
Yes i noticed it looped around and I dont think it will take long for new growth or I hope it doesn't as you said it made roots very quickly......I am sure you are better than just low success on the African Ascleps....they have very unique and pretty flowers from the pics i have seen.....keep up the good growing!
Sandy
African Ascleps? Which ones? I want to know please, Norma
Oooops just saw that I wrote Ascleps, meant Asclepiads hope it was not misunderstood.
Norma, the ones I got are mainly Piaranthus, Duvalia, Caralluma and Ceropegia. Some I have no problem rooting others on the other hand seem to just dislike me :).
I gave Ceropegia arabica Jabel Fayfa something like 6 tries and all failed :(. Experimenting around with different soil mixes and moisture levels to see if I can get a better success rate.

The MIA finally got ahold of PanamonCreel :)......turns out the postman put it inside the porch on the table with all my plants that were brought in because of frost warning. Thank you so very, very much Milan!!
Sounds like you got a good postman there Pam.....He obviously is a gardener!
Sandy
I don't think he is ( a gardener that is)......he lives at the top of my block (his yard is pretty bare) but he has a pretty good idea of what's in my packages (he is always asking what the new plant is that's on my front step). ;) He's interested in them enough to make sure they don't freeze but it's always a mystery as to where he has put it.
Milan you have mail. :)
