Just have to share this...

We here in Florida have suffered a terrible 6 weeks. Nerves are frayed, tempers are flaring, and loss is great. Today I received an email from Top Tropicals, a nursery where I purchased several plants via mail order. A hard working Russian couple own this endeavor. It was their newly designed newsletter. In this newsletter, they were offering return customers a 10% discount, but to the Floridians who had lost plants to wind and rain, 30%. Now they are relatively new at this and as we all know, it is a hard business at best. How very kind of them. Thankfully they had no real damage from the storms. To reach out and share at a time like this I thought was just wonderful. I know I for one, will be checking to see if they have a plant I want first before I look elsewhere. I think they deserve to flourish.

Yes indeed they do Dale, people can be so incredibly kind...and resiliant...I am amazed at some of the jokes coming from the Plumeria group out there...I would be crying my eyes out especially if I had a nursery and seeing all of my past endeavours...darned hard work just littered around on the ground...we lived in Fla for about 3 yrs but fortunately saw no hurricanes, just the real heavy thunderstorms..it was the bugs that drove me batty and the humidity [would you believe I had never seen a cockroach in my life until we arrived in Florida], I think I was hysterical for 3 yrs..no kidding..smile... all the very best to you all, hope you have seen the last of them this year...
