hello to all at dave's garden

I just joined a few days ago and so far have really enjoyed it. There is so much to read. I am a houseplant buff and am anticipating opening a small shop in the near future. Where, in this wonderful site, do I ask questions about certain plants? Questions about growing methods, identifying plants, etc. And, where do I just chat? Here I guess. Of course, Plants Database has an incredible wealth of information in it and if you have information about certain plants that is not in there, feel free to add that info.

There are almost 90 forums, so you are bound to find something about every plant question you have. I use the "search forums" a lot. Or just post a question in the appropriate forum.

Go into your preferences: forums: and pick out the ones you think you might be interested in.

As for real chatting, Dave's has two chats a week, usually on Tuesday afternoon and Thursday morning. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong on that.

Thanks for the kind welcome, and the info about the different forums. I am still getting used to navigating the site. This is going to be a wonderful, helpful place. I love reading the forums.
