P. kewensis

Here's a picture of Passiflora 'Kewensis' from a few days ago. This part of the plant has escaped from the trellis it's on, which is around 10 feet away from these on the fence

Gorgeous vine. I had this one a couple of years ago, but it didn't want to bloom until it was cooler. Cooler here means frost soon, so I don't grow it anymore. Do you think I made a mistake getting rid of it? Should it normally bloom all summer?

Mine blooms all summer. The vine looks better when it's cooler as far as the leaves go, but there's never a problem with the blooms, although they are a darker pink once it cools off, plus they open earlier. For me they open fully in the late afternoon or evening and close up around 10.

I'd say give it a chance again next year and see what happens. I'm rooting some btw if you're interested:-)

Beautiful!

Thanks. It is sweet of you to offer, but right now I'm so glad to have everything put away for the winter, that I don't even want to think about new plants for a while. I'm needing this break. LOL!

Mark, it's in a large pot... sorry I didn't cover that in the previous post.
