Hello everyone. I was curious if anyone had any similar experience with their dog. My four mo old puppy has been having some trouble probably for a week or more now. He is kind of doing this cough/gag type deal, mostly in the morning and at night. Sometimes, he makes himself throw up. I feel so bad for him, he does it a lot at night especially. DH took him to the vet though and she said no sign of something in the throat or infection and shrugged it off as no big deal, maybe allergies, but how can that be?! I know he is uncomfortable. Even if it is allergies, then isn't their anything they can do for that? Do you think I should just let it go? or maybe take him to another vet?
Any advice at all would be appreciated. Thank you so much!
