I love this foliage...

Medford, NJ(Zone 6b)

With foliage like this I don't think I need a bloom... Of course it would be nice. A seedling of Arlene's pink Beauty.

Close up. I have others that have toothed foliage, but nothing like this. Looks like a gator mouth.

Very pretty and unusual !!!

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Wow, those sure are different. That's the kind of leaves that are supposed to be on the real Pink Favorite, maybe not so serrated, but long.

Is it ready to bloom? Love to see pics.

Serated- that was the word I was looking for when I wrote this!LOL Too much time spent bent down working on a concrete project ... Gloria, heck no it's not ready to bloom. This was from a pod I started in the winter. It came from this plant. I'm ashamed to say that I have 8 seedling shoved into one small pot. And I wonder why I don't get blooms.

Wishing you much luck on your seedling, it should be something great, with a mom like that one, Love it.

Ellicott City, MD(Zone 7a)

Beautiful dark pink blooms and great looking serrated leaves! Don't see any evidence of insects nibbling and leaving holes in the foliage. How does she hold up in the heat and humidity here in the Mid-Atlantic?

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

Awesome looking leaves. Got some strong Whiskers genes in there???

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

They look huge! How can you fit 8 in a pot if any are as big as this baby? Very nice. I can't wait to see what the flowers look like.
