Have 10 corms (3 are tiny) that sprouted new growth in our "Indian summer". If you can plant them in your frost-free zone, you might have a Christmas bouquet (I have in the past!).

Anyone in warm zone want some peach glads?
~`spin~ What are you looking for in trade? SASE? I'm collecting glads for next year and don't mind wintering over, planting and lifting. LMK

It's just that they've sprouted new growth (up inside the old! while I was letting the foliage dry) and I don't know, if this growth dries up, will they sprout again in YOUR spring?
Postage or seeds or ? Not houseplants I don't think! I see that's what you're planting on having to trade!
~'spin!~
~spin~ I think I'll pass since they're already sprouting. I doubt if they'll go dormant for me and for sure, they'd croak. LOL
Thanks anyway,
~julie~
Well, they are wilting as we speak, so I guess I'll have to stick them back in the ground mebbe between the azaleas... not the best exposure for them, but if I keep them alive through one more cycle, I can probably re-dig them for you in the spring!
Will let you know, when it happens!
~'spin!~
Sounds good to me...hope they give you a great display.
~julie~
What a gorgeous color! If you ever have extra to trade, please let me know. I can surely find something for you.

Silly gardener! These glads are for you!
They are the ones I just sent you! Should arrive today, in fact. Unpack carefully, recommend dumping onto a sheet of newspaper or something, be sure you account for the four itsy-bitsy ones.
~'spin!~
Oh my gosh!! They sure did and did you ever do a wonderful job of packing them.
Right now they are residing in my dark cool fruit cellar, just waiting for spring of 2005.
Tomorrow plan on taking them out of the package and putting in peat moss for the winter.
Maxine
crystalspin, if you have any more bulbs to trade, I would be interested.
