Hi all, I'm just starting to get caught up here. This is a new rose for me this year, Hot Cocoa. I don't have many roses but I sure like the dusky colour.
Hot Cocoa
Beautiful rose Liz and at this time of year I love it's name! ;)
Elaine turned me on to this one. And unlike my others I haven't had any aphids or blackspot.
Have you go cold weather Pam? Yesterday north of here in Fort St John they had 6 inches of snow.
Today we are +26........from what I saw on the weather channel we are *finally* warmer than you! ;)
As if that's going to last for very long......... :'(
No today just poor Lynn has entered the land of the wet and cold white stuff.....I am still safe for a little while. I have been potting up and down the tropicals and washing/searching for spiders..... ;)
That's good to hear Pam. I like when the weather changes in the fall.
I'm struggling with an import permit. Absolutely hate dealing with gov't forms.
What part is giving you trouble?
Dealing with the people, lol. Everyone gives you a different answer. It's faxed off already.
Yup that is the worst of it! ;)
for (((((Lynn))))). What a sh.....oops deal. Can that really be snow already.
I think they posted tonight's temps.......today was gorgeous! Tonight we could drink hot cocoa (but the whole summer's night time temps have been that way).
If one has to look at the glass as half full - the garage has never smelled soooo good with all those in bloom bruggies in it for the last 48 hours.
That's putting a positive spin on it Lynn.....good for you!! ;) One of mine is loaded with buds so I still need a few warm day yet. ;)
I checked the weather map for our province OldFlowerGirl....turns out Regina was getting much cooler weather (but as you know....or maybe not.....Moose Jaw is in Saskatchewan's Banana Belt). Our temperatures are usually 10 degrees warmer than our nearby neighbor. They may be bigger but we are usually much warmer. Not bragging here just stating facts......I really, really, really, don't want another winter like last year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :S
That is cool! I didn't know that Pam. You know I have never been to Moose Jaw. Been to Regina as my hubby lived there and has some relatives still residing in Regina, but it was never a favourite spot for me. Now I know I'd better take a trip to Moose Jaw for a little satisfaction! LOL Have a good day and a fabulous weekend everyone.
