I noticed in the new member list there is a Heatherbelle from Victoria, B.C. Hopefully she will find our forum and stop by to say Hello.
Welcome to Dave's Garden Heatherbelle!! :D
Welcome Heatherbelle! :)
Yes its blurry; hand shake due to the cold and the 2 second shutter speed; its dark out in the morning now. Whine, Whine, Whine.
I'm so sorry Lynn......have you dug out your winter gloves yet???
Hi Heather, welcome! You'll like it here. It would kill me to only be able to read the first post of each thread.
Heather, it's about time you joined. Good to see ya here. She's about 5 min. away from me.
(she's got the brug bug bad, and has a beautiful garden!)
Linda in Victoria BC
She emailed me today that she'd met you already Linda and that she'd joined. You guys are going to have fun together.
I told her to spend an hour or 4 searching Monika's threads. A wonderful rainy day pastime.
My cure for the morning is wine wine wine this evening sitting in the garage with my brugs. Potty you say??? LOL
lololololol.....I think you need to get away for a holiday there Lynn. Just stay away from Florida and one or two Islands below it!!
Thanks for the welcome Liz, MG99, Lilypon, I already feel at home! I was planning on "lurking" for a while but it looks like you guys won't allow that! I am looking forward to learning lots and it looks like this is THE place.
No lurker's allowed! ;) So glad you have come to join us!! :D It is the place and you will love it!
p.s. do you have a digital???
Lily pon, yes she does have a digital!!!!! I have been the recipient of some lovely brug pictures!!!

We had better dig up some other AB/prairie subscribers. Don't want Vancouver Island to get our list too top heavy. VBG
Inanda who welcomes Heatherbelle and Yumiko.

This is the great forum to know people.
I love it so much.
Good morning everyone! Thanks for the welcome yumiko, Starzz, inanda - I have been reading all the posts over the last few days - and it gives me the "warm fuzzies"! And yumiko has been putting me to shame with her posts.
I am hoping to post some pictures of my garden as soon as I figure out how to how to do it (I am a novice in the digi camera department).
Lilypon- I have just received two rooted cuttings of plumeria (as if brugs were not enough torture) and I am already fretting over them.
MG99, ggd - we must get together before the winter sets in!
Welcome to the Canadian Polar Plumeria Grower's Club Heatherbelle.......we can all wring our hands together! ;)

well ........I have up to (but not including) the bloom stage. :( For those that are growing them and have lots and lots of time, there is a thread you can read (with many links) but make sure you read all the way to the bottom: http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/430057/#new
They hate cold Alaskan summers....which is what I had this year! :(
