Paul, is this the only bloom you have had so far? I hope you will give it time. I'd be anxious to see what it does later on or with the next blooms. Nine foot, is a tall seedling. What in the world were you feeding it? LOL! Is this your own cross?

Brookhaven, PA(Zone 6b)

No I have more blooms. That was just the first bloom!

I am 99% sure I got the seed from Cala!

Here is a newer pic!
The last pic was during REALLY HOT and HUMID days.

Very interesting! I had so many GL seeds from last year, I only pollinated one bloom this year. This one looks so interesting!

Unless it's the pic, I think I see some pink near the center. I LOVE it Paul, such a pretty color of yellow.

I will try to remember BrugAddict if I have any left.

I was wondering if this seed was actually from me. I gave Susie tons of these seeds for the ABADS seedbank last year. Did you get it from ABADS Phill1? I had run out of slip on tags so I marked the blooms with colored ribbon to denote which father I used.

Then I forgot to write down my key so I had tons of GL X ?. I am such a doofus! lol I can't remember if Susie used GL to hybridize last year, though she probably did also. We were so hot to get doubles. LOL

Harlem, GA(Zone 8a)

:-D Thank you Kell

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Kell, if he got them from ABADs seed bank, they should have the hybridizers name at the bottom of the envelope. It would be neat if they were yours!(queen of the pinks hybridizes a double yellow!)
I had some GL seeds I put on Ebay, I didn't know some of the crosses because my tags faded and some I didn't have many of so I mixed the different crosses in one envelope and sold as "Golden Lady X unknown pollen donor" and then someone emailed me laughing about the way I had it worded, lol.

Kell!

I got them from Cala on Ebay!

Thanks for the comments!

Shucks Susie, I wanted to be the mother of a double! I guess i will have to wait for a double pink. LOL! So far I have had 2 GL babies bloom and I must say they are not earth shattering! However, I must have another 20 or 30 to go! LOL

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Kell, I thought for sure you'd have a double pink blooming this year. Tell those babies to get busy and bloom!
