hello, i noticed some of my tulips went to seed , and i collected them.. they look like glad seeds (kinda) but without that little seed bump in the middle.. how do i know if they are any good? and how/when do i plant them? i live in a pretty hot zone so do i have to put them in the refer? and if so how long? any info sure would help! thanx

how do you germinate Tulip seeds?
Forget about it. They may be sterile. Even if they are good, it will take 7 years under all kind of challenged circumstances to produce a flower. Stick to Bearded Iris, Hosta's and Daylilies to spend your time on.
