Thanks to Kyle Courtney (Eclipse), his beautiful Brug is beginning to bloom.
Sunray
Gosh, you foliage looks so nice and much darker than mine ever got. Can't wait to see those blooms open.
Awesome Shirley, can't wait to see when they bloom...we are getting such high winds and rain pours from 'Frances' right now ...mine are all turning over...hopefully they'll perk back upwards lol...
That should be so pretty when they all bloom! I have 6 in pots that haven't done a thing yet...hopefully at least 1 will be yellow.
Thanks everyone!
Brugie, I had to move "Sunray" into the shade. Its leaves were getting burnt from the sun. Maybe the leaves look darker because it is getting indirect light.
BugAddict & Ginger_H, my heart goes out to both of you having to endure the torrential rains, high winds, and storm damage from Hurricane Frances. Please stay safe and know that others are thinking of you!! Your Brugs should perk back up after Hurricane Frances leaves your area.
Here are pictures of her opening up tonight. She smells SO GOOD!
Great name for her.
I agree, it is a great name for her!
Since this is the 1st year that I've grown her, will her color deepen over the next couple of days?
Its beautiful Shirley!!
I only had her for one year and the color didn't get deep at all. Not much deeper than what you have. You have a different climate than I do, so maybe it could be different.
Thanks Shelly221! :~)
I'll let you know if her color deepens over the next couple of days, Brugie. We are due to get the flooding rains from Hurricane Frances beginning around midnight, so I'll see how she does.
Stay safe. That one has caused a lot of grief for people.
