manihot or lemon slice? or one in the same

I know this is perennial, I think LOL Ibought the seeds on ebay as lemon slice hibiscus, but it really looks like the manihot one, has huge seed pods, and an oak leaf type leaf.

Looks just like the manihot that I grow. Got my seeds from Shirley1Md and I love it. Kind of full of stickers though. It isn't perennial in Iowa, so I have to save seed.

I think i have this plant but the leaves are not as divided but everything else looks the same. Could that be because it is a young plant? Just wondering but it is very pretty.
