Thanks to all of you for helping me get through Hurricane Frances. I live in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and have only been with you for about a week. This garden was my mental safe haven from all the insanity going on around me. I have lost some fencing and a big banana tree, but all else will survive. When I get my junk cleared up from all the palms, I will probably be posting a coupld of things myself.
Again, thanks to all. (See you were all great in a time of need and didn't even know that you were helping someone.....)
To All my new Friends, YOU

Welcome to Daves. I'm glad to hear that you are okay and you didn't lose a lot of your gardens. Clean up is always a dreaded job though. Hang in there. Bet it won't be long and your place will be beautiful again.

Hello chefnl
Welcome from Pakistan, yes my friend we have one more friend in the garden, here we all are friends , hope you will also enjoy with us.
Lost my internet for a day, but I'm back again and ready to start cleaning the yard. Public schools are still closed due to the lack of electricity in so many places. Mentally I am feeling much better and it has much to do with all the good wishes. WOW what a group. I am so glad I found you. Will keep in touch........
Glad you are ok! Welcome to Daves - great place!
Waving hello from the canyonlands of eastern Utah - couldn't be more different gardening styles. You'll be amazed how many of the same plants and new plants we all grow. And share.
Drop into the nightowls thread on Jokes and Chat forum if you have time to just chat once your cleanup job is done.
