I have a bromeliad my friend gave me and it has 4 pups. I went to pull the pups off of the mother plant and found a tag inside that said propagation prohibited. (?) Anyone seen this or know what it means? George aka Jester.
bromeliad propagation prohibited?
Jester, it means YOU or anyone other than the plant hybridizer cannot propagate this plant for commercial means.YOU can -propagate it for yourself, but you cannot sell them online, in the public sector or wherever. No money can change hands. To produce the plant in quantities you must pay a royalty to the grower and hybridizer. Does that sound like LEGALESE??? LOL
thanks for letting me know. That takes a load off. I don't want to do anything wrong LOL
