I joined DG yesterday and have already decided to attend the KYRU. After reading the threads I decided the people who would be attending are "my kind of people". I visited the OTHER garden site and decided I just didn't fit. I was told I couldn't take my Bully to their Spring Plant Swap, so I stayed home!!! With music, dancing, critters and plants, I'm bound to enjoy myself at the KYRU.
PS Jeb loves all people and animals except Roosters. The one we HAD slipped up behind him and pecked his behind several times before poor Jeb could get away!!!

Your home and plants are very beautiful. You have nice collections.
Please post picture again.
Beautiful, nice way to protect plants from cold.
Wow, how do you keep up with it all? I'd be exhausted at the end of each day. I guess it would be a good tired though. Great looking plants and I'd love to have your porches and the ability to close them in for the winter. Iowa just gets too cold.
Right now I find I'm spending tooooo much time at DG, it is addictive!!! I'm learning so much and I can't wait for the next lesson, just a click away!!!
This past weekend we went to the Garden Party as I called KYRU (Kentucky Roundup/gathering of DG members see: Roundup Forum), when talking to people here at home about the event. KYRU didn't mean anything to them but when I referred to it as a Garden Party I didn't have to do a lot of explaining!!! We enjoyed ourselves very much and met some great people. We would highly recommend attending a Roundup.
I've picked all the veggies from the garden so we can pull up the plants, so now I'm off to make relish (tomato ripe and green, peppers, onions, garlic) - run it all through a food processor, season it just right, put it in a big pot to cook down and enjoy it all through the winter!!!
Welcome from Tucson, AZ . think you are going to love it here. Love your web page. Maybe you can teach some of us how to do that. Binky :))))
BigDaddy99, DH, taught me. He's started a thread in the Computer Talk Forum. He is wonderful and so patient. He will be glad to help you with building a website!!!
