I was outside taking pictures and this little butterfly (or Moth) landed on my hand, and when I persuaded him to leave my hand...he landed on my nose. I am pretty sure he was there because I was sweating, a lot! A friend was there too, and she took this picture.
This Little Guy, Would Not Leave Me Alone!
What fun! It is a butterfly, it is the Bordered Patch Chlosyne lacinia.
It reminds me of my attempts to photograph an Emperor Gum Moth Opodiphthera helena here in Australia, way back in 1975. The moth flew onto my (then 5-year old) son's face and I got this picture.
