Our Vet has suggested that our 3 year old dog (female Weimaraner) may have a condition called Syringomyelia.
Searching the internet for information does not bring up much at all and what I did find was conflicting. What I have read makes me doubt this diagnosis. To be fair, he only said he was leaning tword this neurological diaganosis.
Her only sympton is a recent problem with controling her bladder. All blood work and urinalysis came back normal.
I have decided to opt out of the suggested meds to help with bladder control for now, as I want to see if it is a frequent problem or not. ( I know the drugs lose there effectiveness )
Anyways,,,,,,,,,, just thought that maybe someone here had personal experience they could share.
