I posted about this banana on Roots thread and also in daylilies. I dug it up yesterday because it had five pups and had split it's pot open! These are daughters number four (just turned 5) and daughter number five (will be 3 in Jan). They insisted on being in the pic. LOL You can see that bubble gum is more thrilling than a stupid picture! The yard is still torn up where I took out my pond and rebuilt it elsewhere. Then the tiller croaked....so is life. Anyway, this is not a bad looking nanner as it was a 3" tissue culture last spring!
The Orinoco sisters and the banana, and the bubble gum. LOL
Gals and nanner looking good!
Looks like that was a small pot too but it sure was happy.
What in the world are you going to do with the big nana? If you can't keep it that big, maybe just whack it back to about 4 ft. and see what happens. Cute girls. I'm all for bubblegum.
I still like bubblegum. Your girls are growing up on you, Michele. They are so cute.
Shhhh! Don't tell anybody! I still have one that does not say "No" or "Why" just yet so life is good. The older two are starting to tell ME how it is. Yikes.
Shirley, how can you go wrong with 6' of sugar filled pleasure for less than a buck? LOL
Sue, that plant was spindly and maybe 2.5-3' when I set it out. Then it just went and went and went, must be about 7' now in a season!
