Passiflora mucronata for trade- prefer other passiflora

Floresville, TX(Zone 9a)

I have one rooted cutting (around 6-8 inches tall) of P. mucronata. I don't have a picture of the flower, but they're white and waxy textured from the pictures I've seen. I will post a picture of the plant I'm offering tomorrow.

I would prefer to trade for other Passiflora species or hybrids that I don't have... let me know if interested:-)

Here's the picture of the plant I'm offering (the one in the clay pot), and a picture of the flower can be found here: http://www.passionflow.co.uk/bats1221.htm

Please post which ones you have so I can see if I have something you don't have.

No one is interested in this? Come on, it needs a home:-)

Since I've gotten little response, I'll trade for other tropicals if you have no passifloras to offer....

I am interested in seeds of different Passiflora vines.

Hi Gumlla, sorry, I don't have any seeds to trade or give out yet:-( I have a few fruits on one vine, so if I get anything from them I'll keep you in mind.

I have a very happy Passiflora vitifolia (although my DH just took the shears to all its long out-reaching vines LAST WEEK -- and I didn't even think of rooting any of it!)

How long do you think to get one rooted well enough to send to you?
I have rooting hormone...

Thank you.

Crystanspin, it takes a few weeks to get them rooted, although in my experience more fail than root. I would say I have maybe 40-50% success in rooting. There's a whole long thread from a few months ago where a bunch of us discussed various rooting methods. I'll post the link to it if I can find it again.

Indigo:
This isn't the right time for me to start any, then, as just about the time they would be rooting (if lucky) I will be heading to New Zealand for two weeks.

Maybe in the spring!
