I know it's an old thread. But it's an excellent one I felt needed bumped up to make everyone welcome with all their Gesneriads . I noticed Wonderful Keyring answered trois thread but no one else. And I wanted " trois" and others to know were all Gesneraid crazy too !

In the 1960's it was registered as an Epsica " Flame Violet" but now it has been given it's own catorgory.
To me it will always be an Epsica . It grows babies and roots just like them :)) Sorry I a bad speller. I tried to download the google Laurie and it did not work I don't know what I did worng ?

Heh I have not got my second magazine yet ? Will it come soon. I just got my welcome package with last Dec begin of the season issue is that correct ? Just wonderfin when another will come ?

yes, saintpaulia is a genus in the Gesneriad family. The Gesneriad Society journal comes out 4 times a year.
