My second brug is blooming

Fountain, FL(Zone 8a)

It's a pink in the ground...not very tall. The blooms are soooo long that 2 are touching the ground! If I weren't so whipped from hauling dirt, filling a 65gal. pot and transplanting EEs I'd get and post a picture. I'll try tomorrow. I measured one bloom from the calyx to end yesterday...just over 15 inches. I guess it likes me in spite of the fact that I don't know what I'm doing. LOL

15 inches sounds huge. Hurry with the pic!

Here's a picture. The white bloom is touching the mulch while the pink is sitting on the landscape timber. I tried to get them a little higher with the survey tape, but they insisted on hanging way down.

Very pretty. Could it be Ecuador Pink? I think there is another one out that looks similar. In any case, you have a nice, healthy looking brug there. Thanks for the picture.

Brugie I don't have a clue. Went to visit Weeds awhile back and she whacked off a few branches for me that I rooted..this is one of them. Poor baby got all splattered with dirt yesterday when it rained. That'll teach it to get taller! LOL

She's a very pretty pink. She will be more gorgeous when she grows up.
