The Doctor is doing it again.....

Northern California, CA

One of my large yellow Brugs, formerly known as CG, but recently re-identified as 'Dr. Seuss' is doing it again. Just imagine how much energy it takes to make just one flower. I thought about counting them, but up that close the fragrance was just overwhelming, so I just inhaled deeply instead. :-)

Several weeks ago I gave this a severe haircut again, never misses a beat.

Great picture. This one is a heavy bloomer when conditions are right. Last year I didn't see a single bloom from mine due to heavy winds taking the top out of her. This year, I know I have her planted out there someplace, but I haven't found her yet. LOL! It's a jungle out there.

Plano, TX(Zone 8a)

Oh, to be in Zone 10. Candy, do you get blooms year round?

Last year was my first year for Brugs and it only quit blooming for a few weeks from about late Dec til mid-January. We did have an unseasonably warm Feb-Apr which may be why the Brugs are doing so well this year.

That is a beatiful picture. I wish mine would bloom like that. It is my worst bloomer at the moment and yet the biggest plant I have at 4 stalks and over 7 ft tall. Maybe I should print your picture out and take it out to him and shame hime into better blooming.
