Between every bug known to brugdom and hot weather, Butterfly is having a tough time. She is determined to put on a show though. Lots of buds. She and the thunbergia got together to make sure that their colors matched. Lol.

So pretty frogs....this dry weather here in GA isn't helping with the bugs either, I know what you mean...but the horn worms are the worst grrrrrrrrrrr.
Butterfly is such a beauty. This year the bugs have been worse than they have ever been for me.

Love the thunbergia. It looks like they belong together. Have holes in all my sweet potato plants. I think it adds character, don't you?

Jay, we have lots of character in this garden right now. Holes from bugs, mold from the marine layer, and that toasty brown/gold color from the heat. September is not the favored gardening month here in the southland of CA.
