Hi from a new family

Hi, everyone - I've been listening in and LOL-ing for a couple of weeks now, reading these threads - this is definitely the place for me! I haven't posted before now, because our new digital camera is on vacation with my partner, but decided what the heck! We live in Gatineau, Québec, Canada - both originally from Saskatchewan. We have 3 kitties, who are all formerly homeless...still amazes me how anyone can do that to a living being. Their names are Franklin, Sophie and Scruffy...they each have their own stories of course...Scruffy is sitting on my lap and purring as I write this! He has his special pillow to sit on, which I always put on my lap for him when I'm at the computer....Woops, he just got tired of my arm typing under him, and went for a snack.

Anyhow, hi to everyone, and I look forward to getting to know you all. When my camera (and the person attached to it) comes back this weekend, I hope to get some kitty photos on-line for a proper introduction!
