Isn't it exciting to see your first blooms. That is where I am too. Although I hear seasoned members saying every bloom is exciting. Yours do look good. Is that Whiskers to the left of the blooming one?

picturelady,
When I bought my plants thet were listed as suaveolens white and yellow. I know next to nothing about brugs, but my 2 plants were different. Leaves are different and the blooms are different, white shut up during the day and stood out some from the plant. The yellow bloom hangs straight down stays open all day and larger than white. Its beautiful and smells wonderful too. Of course I am only getting one bloom. another small flush coming but I hope I have enough of good weather.

How exciting. Tell me about the statue in the background.

ihuges,
I used a dress form, covered it with hypertufa, bought a glass head at Pier 1, put a light in it and a straw hat. Just a little humor.

Congrats. I think most of us have had a big fight with the bugs and worms this year. Cool light you have there. I'm not very imaginative when it comes to any kind of yard decor.

Funny, I did something similar with a bathing suit form.

woo hoooooooooo Ihughes & Oriole.....lol, that is way too cute! Where did you guys find that mold???

Oriole, I'm having Hornworms horning into my plants and pods grrrrrrr....they are aweful, one chewed his way right through one of my pods and came out the other end. I just look for huge chunks off of my leave's and it's a dead give-a-way. They hide on the stem and underneath the leave's. They are huge and some are small....but you have to look good because they camaflouge themselves the same color as the bright green leaves and stems. Good luck and it's looking good. You're very creative!

BrugAddict, I'm like you....the hornworms are driving me crazy right now. I have some big ones....but there must have just been a baby hatching cuz I'm finding tiny cats everywhere. They are do destructive.....and in just one night! Ugh.....I'd love to blast them with a flame thrower!!!

BrugAddick,
I used a old dressmakers form, picked it up several years ago at a yard sale. I had it stached in my junk,I knew I would find something to do with it.
