Battery operated pump for indoor water fountain

I'm mounting a water fountain on the stair landing wall which doesn't have an outlet and my wife doesn't want me drilling through the wall. Does anyone know of a source for such a pump? Google came up w/one for $187.00, which is way out of budget. Thanks!!!

Would you consider a solar operated water fountain? If so, I might have a few ideas that would be more affordable than what you mentioned above.
