I am looking for the more unusual mint cuttings: ginger, candy, lime, lavender, blue balsam, Egyption, chewing gum, marshmallow
Also, I am looking for a few seeds of heirloom tomatoes
My trade list is on GWeb : ensatagirl
rooted mint cuttings
i have ginger mint! and one im not sure of-taller smells like spearmint has yellow tiny flowers
I am very, very new to Dave's Garden (a few days) and this is the first time I have joined in on a thread (???).
I am in Rhode Island, and would like to put spearmint in a section of my yard because I absolutely love spearmint and honey tea.
Could someone tell me the best spearmint for this and can I plant it in the fall?
Thank you.
(I hope that this is the correct way to post a reply or ask a question.)
what's a GWeb?
gloriag is referring to Gardenweb, I believe. It is another large garden website. A link to her page there would be helpful, but she may not may not have done so, since it is not allowed to link DG from Gardenweb. That is not the case here on DG. I'd suggest she enter her info here on DG (Dave's Garden) for the best results. Our trade list option offers lots of extra features, including being able to sort and add pictures. She'll reach more folks here that way.
pck081478, Welcome to Dave's Garden. You're going to like it here! This thread is in the plant trading forum and is a request for mint. The people that visit this thread or post to it are people that have mint to trade with gloriag. I'd start a new thread in an appropriate forum... you'll have to determine that. You can see a listing of the available forums by clicking on the forum tab at the top of your page. Once you post your thread, don't forget to take the 'Watch' option so that you will know when you get an answer.
i have some lime mint if you still wave the double/triple datura seeds or any double somniferum seeds you have. mail me :)
I've got an unk type mint (rooted plants) if anyone is interested. It has a brack of tiny white flowers when it blooms. I had gotten some raspberry plants from a friend and a few mint plants were mixed in with them. Now I have bunches of them.
