That is going to be pretty. I have had one for two years and still no bloom. Begining to think it is a brug instead and it does not like full sun. Will try some from seed this winter.

Hey, TA and Brin, I'm with you guys, I've never seen a datura bloom in person! Yours is beautiful, Cindy, I love it and all the spurs, I suppose it's a double, you lucky girl!!!

Tonasket, WA(Zone 5a)

I'm sorry but I don't understand why you guys don't get blooms on your daturas. I planted quite a lot of seeds this spring and almost all of them have bloomed. I don't think my yellow is a pretty as yours brommon. Smaller and more of a gold. My double and triple purple and white ones are very pretty. I have been snipping off all the seed pods except for one or two on each plant as don't want them coming up everywhere. i should have lots of seed if any of you want any after they ripen. Donna

Normally I have blooms, but this summer our weather has been pretty crazy. That is the only thing I can think of. I have d. wrightii in the ground and it's been blooming for a couple of months. But my black currant swirl just started blooming about 3 weeks ago. And my double yellow hasn't even set a bud yet. It's still pretty small. They were both planted from seed at the same time. LOL Who knows....

I hope you have a great summer next year. I would love the temps to stay low again, but maybe a little less rain would be good. It is pretty wet here and I have a couple of brugs in the low part of my garden that are getting pretty yellow.

Cassopolis, MI(Zone 5a)

brommom that is stunning!!!!
my triple purple has bloomed nicely this year, but didn't get anywhere with the yellow one, but it was probably me and not the plant!!!!
