dbl peach hibiscus

i thought that double meant it had dbl the petals...lol..this one looks like it has 2 flowers on one stem....am i saying that right...lol...here is a close up..you can see the 2 seperate stamens

Brommom, is this kind if what you meant? It's blooming today, and the stamen looks like it's got a petal growing up through it?!

Not meaning to hijack your thread, and this one's not peach, but red. The plant almost always will have single reds, but once in a while, like today, has 2 of these.

very pretty...but i think mine looks like it actually has 2 dbl flowers.....this is on one stem....i thought, boy that looks awful fluffy...that is when i went to look closer at it...i will go out tomorrow and do some poking around.......i just thought dbl peach, meant more petals...lol..not double flowers on the same stem...lol

You are right Cindy, on closer look, it does look like you have 2 on one stem. Lovely flower. I wonder what the next blooms will be like?

i went and checked it more closely today...it does have 2 seperate flowers...one is smaller than the other...but the 2 stamens are totally seperate...lol.....must be something in the rain water here...lol
