Hi David and Renee,
We almost ended up living nr Temecula, [our sons live there] but decided to stay where we are...and hotter where you guys are.
I have had so many nice responses from the folks who are posting, wish I had joined earlier, someone told me to read the jokes and I have never laughed so much in a long while, if you find the time check them out.

Hi again David and Renee,

I sent you a welcome email and it was so nice of you to reply to it.
I hope you have been having some fun, reading and looking at all the great info on this fantastic site.

Could you help me with some confusing thoughts? Do you live in Tustin or La Cresta? lol

Glad you found the welcome mat,
Donna

Hello everyone,
I am a little late joining up here, should have done this a few weeks ago, but having too much fun...I appreciate the members who have already welcomed me and for their true kindness...
I recently had to have surgery but on that morning spent time reading the ''jokes'' and chat, had the best time, never laughed so much in ages...glad that people have not lost their humour...I live in southern Calif..county [San Diego] been here for around 40 yrs, grow roses and tropicals [fruit and plants] We are originally from the UK but it has been many years...I am enjoying the European format tho', lots of memories there...would love to say ''welcome'' to all the new people here too...this is a lovely site.

We are currently in tustin, while we are building our new house in La Cresta We plan on being here for another 2 years

Santa Ana, CA(Zone 9b)

Hi David and Renee!
We are near neighbors, I guess; I live in the triangle of the 5-55-22 (near the south point, across from Cabrillo Park).

When you get out to Temecula area, you will be closer to although still north of the south nursery of Las Pilitas growers. Very good source for CA natives. I reviewed them for the DG-Watchdog... Also Tree of Life in Ortega Canyon (they do natives and also xeric non-natives. Check out both their websites for your planning!

So, welcome! Enjoy!

Hi, Dave--You will really like the DG members and all the information and photos they share.

By the way, will you be growing wine grapes on your seven acres? Isn't the Temecula area the new Napa?!

We'll be interested to follow your garden progress. Welcome! t.
