Carmela X Rubirosa seedling by Monika

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Here is the first bloom on one of Monika's crosses. It went through a huge storm yesterday and was able to hang on, so it must be pretty strong. Another of this cross had a white bloom.

Another beauty. How does one get 'Monika seeds'?

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Linda, it takes a phyto and import permit to get seeds or cuttings, but you would have to talk to Monika about it.

Columbia, SC(Zone 8a)

Somewhere, one has to draw the line between 'hobby' and 'addiction'. For now I guess I'll have to be happy with my USA seedlings.

Shirley, I just love that dark pink, it's just gorgoeus - sooooo jealous! It has to be very hardy to survive a hail storm and 2 wind storms in a short time. Linda

San Antonio, TX(Zone 9a)

I think we are all jealous of that one. You sure do have some nice ones, Shirley.

Denver, CO(Zone 5b)

Its beautiful!! Congratulations Shirley, Monika, and to the "bud that could"

Absolutely gorgeous.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Beautiful, Shirley and Monika.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

This will be the last picture of this one. She is just a tad bit darker and maybe a little more re-curved. Would you believe I forgot to take a sniff of her?? LOL! Ignore all the hail holes in the leaves.

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

This is really pretty and I love the recurve and long tendrils. It is so special in its own way. I hope all your bad weather is over with for the summer season. You certainly have had more than your share of it.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

We got lots of rain last night, but missed the big winds. They hit south of us about 10-20 miles and east of town, I heard that lots of big trees were on the highway. North and east of Kyle it was bad. He wrote that he didn't have any problems there.

Milo, IA(Zone 5a)

Brugie: Another to die for pink brug. Awesome. I was watching the sky last night and thinking about ya. Looked like it was right over you, so glad the storm missed you and us.

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

That is really beautiful

Moose Jaw, SK(Zone 3b)
