I have enjoyed looking at pictures of all your pets for a long time now, so I thought it was time to show of ours. This is Smokey. She was a stray who turned up at our windows one night about a year ago as a kitten. We tried to track her home and even advertised in the local shop, but no-one claimed her. At the time we still had our old cat Pounce, who did not take kindly to a young companion in her old age, but poor old Pounce passed away and Smokey has settled in to stay. She is a great climber, getting on to the house roof, the shade-house roof and here on top of a post supporting the trellis round our patio,
