winter climbing foilage

Phoenixville, PA(Zone 6a)

I am looking for a climbing plant that will continue to be green all year round. I need something on the corner of my deck to keep neighbors from looking in my back door. Does not have to flower but would be nice if it did. I need something easy to care for. I have trouble getting around sometimes. I live in Pennsylvania which I think is zone 6. Thank you, Mary

Welcome to DG Mary! Glad to have you aboard!

Japanese Honeysuckle keeps most of it's leaves here in West KY...you might want to see if it does in PA.

There is a whole forum here devoted to nothing but vines and climbers...check that out and ask over there too. We have some wonderful experts that might give better advice than me.

I believe Clematis Armandi is evergreen. Might check Akebia also. I'm not sure on that one. Jeanette

Sorry, unless you could do Boston Ivy - it stays green in the cold.
Any way welcome to Dave's. Best site on the web. ~Blooms

Welcome Mary. I hope you find the perfect vine for your back door area.

Hi,
I am about 3 weeks new-- my daughter got me a subscription to DG as part of my christmas present-- what could be better--
I live in the mountains of NC, zone 6b with two golden retrievers.
've already had the privilege of meeting Darius face to face--
I am so thrilled to be part of this.
