my rooting is blooming but looking yellowish on the leaves.
i know i must be doing something right for it to bloom but why are the leaves yellowing. i wonder if they need lime as i fertilize all the time.
imzadi, I'm a newbie, but don't give them iron. Maybe in the ground (if it can be done that way) but not on the leaves. Several have had problems, putting the iron mixture directly on the plant. HOWEVER, I'm sure someone with more experience will come along to answer your questions...
What is the water situation? Has it been getting too much rain? or not enough water?
How often and with what are you fertilizing? Don't you just love it when we fire questions right back at you. LOL!
i try not to water them too much as lately its raining alot . i dont think its the rain though i did find out we have really clay soil so that may be it.
i was planning to lime the whole yard and see what happens.
Shirley, LOL, true and funny!!!!
now I want to know how you got yours to bloom at only foot and a half tall. mine want do nothing till there about 3 feet?
Maybe you could dig it up when it is finished flowering and put it in a pot. Use a soilless mix and fertilize twice a week if you can. Just give it some time and see if it comes out of it.
i dont know how it bloomed at a short height. the flowers almost touch the ground. right now its the talk of the neighbor hood. its in my front yard and everyone wants to know what it is.
the hummers are too cute trying to get to it.
hehe Brugie i fetilize like every three weeks as the rest of the garden gets it. miracle grow is what i use.
