Nightowls Thirteen: Post and be seen!

No earth-shattering stuff going on, I was just busy this weekend with projects, cleaning and company. Howie emptied out our kitchen closet/pantry and put up shelves for me. He also cut a kitty door in the bottom of the door and put a shelf in the bottom of the closet so they could have their litterbox and food in there, but be isolated from the rest of the closet. I still need to get some S-hooks for the pans (they'll hang on the white metal wire shelf) and to trim out the cat door. I might even add a little faux portico above it, made with a triangle of thin plywood, just for fun.

Our friend Angie came over Saturday night and stayed over. I had allergy problems from the dust kicked up by cleaning, and the antihistamine knocked me out cold on the couch while Howie and Angie watched the movie. I snorked awake one time only to hear them giggling about how I was doing sleep jerks like our dogs.

We enjoyed pancakes and bacon for breakfast, then watched some TV shows and a movie, read the paper, and just generally lounged around and visited. It was a nice, laid-back day -- and I wasn't on the computer much at all. When I came back online, my list of watched threads was as long as the forum list! =)

Now that we're in the teens for threads, coming up with a new rhyme each thread will be a challenge!
