This is the first time that I've had a Brug set buds, now if I can only be here when it blooms. I've spent so much time in Indiana & have had to neglect all my plants that I really didn't have much hope that any of the Brugs would bloom. I can hardly wait. The plant doesn't look too great because I've been fighting spider mites & their ugly webs all year. I just noticed these yesterday, how long before they open?

Isabella Buds - my first ever
Just a few days on the largest 2. How exciting for you.
Isn't it exciting Jan? I understand completely!!
You sure aren't far off and you're in for a real treat.
Congrats on your blooms! Yes, its always very exciting! Especially when you see one that you've never seen in person before!!!
Wow, Jan, you are one more lucky first timer!!!!!
Hope you get to stay home and enjoy them
Congrats!!!!
Jan....LOL...I was just remembering how 'excited' I was when my first opened! I watched that bud for hours and seemed like days! I know your feeling...congratulations & enjoy! There will be many more after this one! Don't forget to sniff them at night!
It is very exciting! Congratulations on getting such terrific looking buds!! Love your wishin' well!
Shirley, we got the wishin' well at Menard's last year. We really like it, it is a fountain & the water pours into the bucket & then into the well & around again.
I can't hardly wait for the blooms to open & smell their delightful fragrance, I've never smelt brug blooms before, so this will be my first.
Hostanquilts, Your brug looks just great and you will have lots of blooms to enjoy , both the beauty and the lovely smell. I am going to post a photo of my first seedling to bloom. Not great but like you it is so good to see the first blooms. Donna
Thanks Donna, I keep looking to see if it's opened yet. Must be like the watched pot that doesn't boil. Hee hee
Yes indeed,lookin for update pics.
Donna, that one looks like it could get some nice color!
Two of the buds are even bigger today - I'm really getting anssy to see them bloom.
Jan, I'm so glad I came back and looked at your 2nd Isabella. My Isabella is the only brug I have that's not in the ground. I have hesitated because she has not Y-ed, she is in about a 10 inch pot. However, since I put all her 'sisters' in the ground, Isabella has REALLY come on, she is sassy, demands attention and has the largest leaves I've ever seen, especially for one so young and short. Of course, I wish mine would bud like yours, they are so FAT, similar to Rosemond's, who has been blooming all summer. I can't wait to see your Isabella in bloom, thanks for the photos!!!!
