I planted this one in the ground this year and it is 9' tall and is having it's first blooms. My problem is that I received several cuttings last year and early this year and they got mixed up, DUH! Can anyone help me name this one? I'm posting 2 more pictures from different sides if it helps. Thanks.
George
First White
Nice white George! How is the scent? Looks like you have more blooms coming.
Congratulations on your first bloom, George! Isn't it exciting? Did you happen to get a Frosty Pink cutting? The leaves look a lot like the ones in your photos and the blooms are white when they first open. Just a thought... Gretchen
Nice crisp white suaveolens, George. I'm not up on the names of all the brugs. If you still have the names, maybe someone could help you.
Wow! That one really glows!
I don't kinow what it is but it's a beauty. Happy birthday poorgeorge. :-)
Thanks all: Brugie, that's a start with suaveolens. Rootdoctor, no scent that I can get close to, lol, I just measured it and it is 9' 3". And, delecie, thanks for the B'day greeting.
Happy Birthday George. Congrats on your bloom!
Hey George, and happy B'day again!
Is this the first day for your bloom? If you remember who you got cuttings from--go ahead and email the people and ask. I might have sent you my S. Pink, but not a white.
I've never had a white brug, and I do look forward to having one, I love white. A local told me that the whites had the nicest fragrance, true or false???? The same gardner also told me that the white flowers were always the strongest, true or false??? This does, IMO, hold true with crepe myrtles...
