My mom was so cute.. lol she said "they DO know about my angel trumpets in Germany!!" lol she is a mess. Give the woman a couple brugs, and she loses it, and states they are all hers. She has already tried to nab a couple seedlings I have growing. Talking some craziness about they need to be spoken to in the language from where they were conceived. LOL (It really is great to see her interest in them tho)
I know this little thing is talking about getting rid of a type of bug that is found on them, but we werent sure what bug.

If this form is in German language then Ursula can translate it .

Shelley, they talk about the bug (Otiorrhynchus sulcatus). His larvae does much damage to the roots of many shrubs and perennials. The bug and his larvae do not damage Brugmansias.
They tell you, to go and check your plants after dark with a flashlight to pick the bugs off.
The tale, that the bug cuts the pieces out of Brugmansia leaves, is going around in Germany but the damage is actually done by a caterpillar and not this bug..You will find a picture of this caterpillar in my book. They hide during the day in the ground to come out after dark to feed on Brugmansia leaves.I have picked myself many of those cats off my plants in late evening.
