New blooms on another cutting

GOD's Green Earth, United States(Zone 8b)

Pink Floyd is still a very small plant but he finally decided to grace me with a couple of blooms. An unidentified bug ate most of the calyx on this flower, but he still bloomed. There are quite a few more buds, so hopefully this one will be blooming for a while. I love the color and the long tendrils of this one.

The whole plant. Sorry about the "lace leaves"....

Gretchen, pretty bloom! I love the softness of this color. LOL....your leaves look good compared to some of mine. The cats are having a hay-day with a few brugs here. And after seeing a hummingbird moth the last 2 nights, I'm not sure I want to kill them anymore.

Thanks Brinda -- it is a dainty, soft pink. An interesting name for such a girlie bloom. I hear you regarding the cats. They are having a field day with my "fuzzy" leafed brugs. They don't seem to care as much for the smooth or pebbly textured leaves. Unfortunately they even knocked some buds off my seedling VAXEP... Well, I hope they don't do too much damage to yours!!! It is a nice and elegant bloom Gretchen.

Great pictures Gretchen! It looks like a good sized bloom.

Very nice.

Beautiful!

It sure is nice to be getting some pinks now, I'll bet. I thought I had this one a couple of years ago, but it turned out to be something else.

If that's what Pink Floyd looks like, then mine may not be Pink Floyd. I know one of them isn't because it looks nothing like these pictures. The other two haven't bloomed yet but will soon.

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

I did have this one ... but I never got to see it bloom.

Well, I guess its a Pink Floyd -- that's how it was labeled when I received it as a gift from a generous member, who also happens to be an experienced grower of brugs, last Winter. Guess it could be mis-labeled though. Whatever it is, I like it -- one of those that takes the heat well. Hope she keeps blooming.

Ada -- what does yours look like? Do you have a photo???

Gretchen, I'd better get to feeding and feeding the little one you gave me, so it will grow and bloom. I sure do like that pretty pink bloom.

It really is a lovely bloom, Sylvia. How big is yours?

Gretchen, I loved it from the top of the thread but that last photo is really outstanding, a real beauty!!! It's the first Pink Floyd I've ever seen, I just LOVE it, such a beautiful pink, with the yellow streaks and those LONG tendrils, wow!!

Thanks so much, Sherry! This is definitely at the top of my list. If it continues to bloom (now that it finally started) It'll be my favorite! Wish it was a bigger plant, but hopefully next year...
