Thanks everyone. I love this photo...and it always makes me smile too :-) We don't have the Portulaca oleracea in that rock bed anymore, but I always keep some somewhere in the garden. It's wonderful in patio pots and window boxes too! We also keep it's cousin Portulaca grandiflora somewhere in the garden every summer too. Both make lovely bright clumps of flowers that show off all summer long no matter what the heat!
