CC had me sniffing them out and I think I found some....
and some new freinds.....

are these REALLY nanas?
and does anyone know what kind?

OMG, that darned monkey really did find the nana's. Bet he was glad to get there and not have to worry about the gators anymore. He found some friends too. Bet the little guy is in heaven.

Its gunna be a problem in the GH this year
last year I had it under the peak and every leaf immediatly hit the roof and bent or broke the leaves
It will be leaned over sidways this year

I was wondering if the little guy ever recovered from his traumatic experience when he wrestled the gator! I'm glad to see he found the nanas, but watch him, he will be cutting a little hole in the side to see if they are ripe!

I'm growing several Dwarf Cavandish nanas. I have them planted in my garden, but how many years before they set fruit......if ever?!
I heard 18 months on the Dwarf Cavandish. I'm sure hoping so anyway. I just want to see a banana bloom.

Your nannas are awesome. I started 5 absynnians from seed also. They are only a foot tall. I thought they were just ornamentals but you got some fruit-yahoo! I planted mine in the front yard and just hope they make it without a greenhouse. I think they get 25 ft. tall.
