question...... do these overwinter in the ground for you up there? I figure you have some type of little micro-climate going on there.. what zone do you think it pushed it to? That Alocasia Mac is a great-looking plant and one I'll be on the lookout for.

Thanks MzM,I pollenated the big Mac,if I get seedlings I will for sure get one to you,I do bring the big tropicals into a GH for winter.

Great yard there ROOTDR.. amaising buch of plants... real talll brugs... mine
are all branching more and never seeing that much trunk on them... must be my bottom heat growing on the roof.. or are you pruneing them to be more of a standard and good looking plumerias... do you know Scott there in KC.. he's the moderator of the Plumeria group at Yahoo.. he's got a great collection of them and could shurely throw you a cutting or two.. about planting in that jug.. seems like you'll have to break it open in a short while to keep it growing.. I'd thought you were waterrooting it in there..
Well talk about HARDCORE ..HA HA HA HA ... you surrely fit right into my bunch on that one.. nothing like it anywhere... and aganst alll odds and probobility..
Are you a regular Dr of some sort.. or do you just play one on the internet.. You surely have a doctorate on tropicals..

LOL!! I am just a plant nut Gordon,PHD in compost LOL!
I prune them up as standards,I like to sit under my Brugs.
The Plumie was only a year old cutting,so I may be able to keep it in that pot for awhile,I am sure I will have to bust it loose some day.
I would like to use your last pic as wall paper,great shot!
If you Email me with your friends name I will try to hook up,I am sure I can find something to tempt him with,for some hints on how to get this Plumie to bloom,I still have not smelled one.

GRAND BRUGMANSIA I ljust love the pink with heavily ruffled skirt... save me a hnk of that one when you descide how much of it you wish to overwinter...
