In the top picture I would say yes, definitely. One of the ways to identify a Frosty is by the wavy leaves. The second picture...None of my Frosties have that much pink inside the bloom, they are white with a pink rim, so maybe not.

Here is what mine look like when in bloom:

The morning sun was coming up. I will have to go back out there and see how they look this evening. Mine definately seem pinker. But I've read that color can vary from place to place ?

My frosty pink is getting ready to open any moment now, can you give a comparison to what it smells like? Im so impatient, can you tell?

Now, who can NOT love that. Turns out my Frosty is a Frosty NOT, it doesn't have the wavy leaves and doesn't open that fully. I have one blooming now and will post a photo this afternoon. I would love a 'Real Frosty'. LindaSC

Linda, its funny...I have three FP's from the same source, and one of them is NOT an FP, but I believe an Isabella. I guess that means I have two Frosties and five Isabellas...

Frosty pink. This is in hot weather. The larger the plant the wavy edges of the leaves are less pronounced. Just to show you what temperature and conditions do for a plant. the next picture I will post is of FP but in the cooler weather and more balanced fertilizer is given.
(don't know how to post two photos in one post.)

B. insignis pink and Isabella has the very pronounced band of color as well as b. aurea pink. But the flower shapes are completely different.
My frosty pink in cool weather with a balanced fertilizer.

Barbara: So mine is NOT a FP? Thanks for your response :) Gretchen

Gretchen-if leaves are wavy on edge and skirt frilly and it is pink you have some form of FP. That is about all anyone can say about FP. Weather, fertilizer, minerals really affect the looks of brugs. I have seen a light pink brug change to a bright and dark pink with the addition of fertilizer and minerals. Also, the ph of the soil has a lot to do with it. Sorry can't say for sure if you have fp. That is one brug I don't sell and don't give away. Because everyone always says, "but that doesn't look like my FP." I just enjoy it.

Thanks Barbara! I do believe its a FP. I have two that have the wavy leaves, and one that is definitely not. Just odd that they all came from the same place...
