Creamsickle

Tulsa, OK(Zone 6b)

Creamsickle is really getting some color, now that the weather is cooler! I love her, thanks again, Shirley! Besides being beautiful, the flowers have some fragrance during the day, which is wonderful!

Dang Ronna, she wouldn't bloom like that for me. That is a great picture. I'm so glad she changes color for you. I was beginning to think I had a very strange brug. I'll have to check with Kyle and see if his has bloomed. I was going to try it again this year, but gosh, for some reason, I ran out of room. LOL!

Beautiful picture Ronna!

I loved her even when she was white, but I'm so thrilled to get color this time! She had two blooms the first time, now look at her! If you decide that you want a piece back, Shirley, just let me know.

Thanks Ronna. I might have to do that sometime. Maybe our horribly hot summer last year wasn't a good test for her. This summer I could have tested her on cool and wind. LOL! Boy, it is chilly tonight. 61 right now, headed down to about 56 and 52 tomorrow night. Not normal for us at all.

Beautiful, one plant have two colors?

Gulfport, MS(Zone 8a)

Beautiful!!
Is it normal for this one to stay white in the heat? My 1st flush just finsihed and they stayed white.
I thought maybe it was mislabeled.

gumlla, many times when brugs bloom you will see blooms that are different colors. Most start out yellow, change to a white color and then to their final color and will do this in a day or two. Others, like the one above, will change color, but it takes several days for them to get from white to color. I've had this one in the past and it never did get to the peach color. Only had white blooms with maybe a hint of peach by the time the blooms folded. Brugs are fun to watch blooming because you can see color changes in just a few minutes when they are opening with some of them.

Mine are all staying white and then turning ugly brown. Had to give her a good talking to. Hope it helps lol.

How long does each bloom last?

Dundee, OH(Zone 5b)

OH that is gorgeous, if you decide to share some cuttings, may I jump in line for this beauty?

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

My blooms had fairly good lasting time last summer, Kim, about 4 to 5 days....just no color.

Cool! So I didn't have to rush out and get pictures, LOL. Oh, of course I had to. :)

Hattiesburg, MS(Zone 8a)

Beautiful--your photo and the flowers. Creamsickle is one of my favorite and because of the heat mine never get that peach. What a delight to see.
