Marc :-D

Dee- no problem, whenever your ready is fine!

Seattle, WA(Zone 8b)

Sue, I'm ready to start these seeds now....can you tell me/us nay tips you may have on the best way to do this? Should I nick them and than soak? Soak only, no nicking? I want these to succeed very badly so any help you can give would be awesome.

Marc

Carmel, NY(Zone 6b)

Sue - Did you ever get the Tomato Seeds you were looking for? I have LOTS if you're still "in the market"???

Seattle Burbs, WA(Zone 8b)

Hi Marc! Yes, nick and soak. These are hard little buggers, I use the edge of some fingernail clippers to do this. I just checked my journal, I started my patens seeds in late January also last year. 153 days later, I reported first bloom!

Hi Sequee, I did get some nice tomato seeds.

Gosh, I wish Winter would hurry up already! LOL!! :-D

Carmel, NY(Zone 6b)

Me, too! Your babies are taking off and they told me they would really like to go out and play - LOL!

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

Hi Sue,
if you have some still available I have matucana sweet peas, heavenly blue MG and a real pretty Brazilian MG.
LMk if any of these interest you. Thanks,
Ronnie

Gardiner, ME(Zone 5a)

Hi Sue,
I just had your seeds in my 'hot' little hands a few minutes ago ready to soak them when I read your note to Mark.
Are you clipping them with a fingernail clipper as You wrote ? or is it a typo and it suppose to be filing them with a fingernail file ?
Thanks again,
Brigitte

Seattle, WA(Zone 8b)

I filed mine with a very hard shop file to get a good 'nick' in them and started soaking last evening. I'll pot them up as soon as I see any sprout begin.......is that about right Sue?

Seattle Burbs, WA(Zone 8b)

Yep! A file, the edge of fingernail clippers, anything to nick the coat so the water can get in.

Ronnie - I have more seeds. You have mail. :)

Seattle, WA(Zone 8b)

Yea! thanks for the help Sue. I really really really want these to suceed. :-)

Marc

Plano, TX

Hey Sue...do you have anymore seeds left for your cannas?

If so, I can send you some pepper seeds...I also have some tomato seeds from Park Seeds called "Whopper" these tomato plants produced all the way up to December..it was incredible how tall they got -- 10ft tall!!

Anyway, let me know if you have any seeds left and I can send you some seeds!!

Let me know!
