hibiscus manihot seedpods
I love this plant. Some of mine lots their tops in last nights storm, but I have seed pods hanging on for next year's crop. Beautiful color on this one. I did learn not to grab the plant to pull or break though. Very stickery...........LOL!
Ha! I bought these seeds on ebay, they were called lemon slice hibiscus, guess she was wrong, they look just like yours, mine are blooming too, little red center, yellow outside, big oak leaf type leaf?

I have these and love them, everyone that sees them wants seed. Brugie very stickery is right, I try to have my cutters when collecting these seed pots.

I counted my seed pods. (Dont ask me why, I dont know). I have, so far, 330 seed pods. There are what 30 seeds or so in each pod? Lordy.
So can you spare one for postage? :-)Would love to try it.
I dont think it will be a problem. Just waiting for them to ripen.
My husband just laughed and shook his head when I told him you counted the seed pods. I think sometimes, he things we have gone beyond obsessed to over the top. LOL! I know many times when working in my flowers he will say "if someone told you that you had to do this, would you?"
can you spare another one for postage or trade ? :-)Would love to try it. Pleaseeeeeeee.lol
they are beautiful!
They are lookin' great! You are so lucky that in your zone they are perennials!
The seedpods need to turn brown and dry before harvesting the tiny black seeds. If anyone wants seeds, I have plenty!!

I can do a trade or postage.
Thanks,
Patti

I have one from yardbird from the roundup at KY last year. It is a beauty and so many seeds. I'll have lots of plants next year. Thanks YB. If any one needs seeds I have plenty also. I've already harvested my seeds. The pods turn brown and will burst open. Jim
The seeds are for a S.A.S.E.....so, please e-mail me if interested.
